Hi! My name is Giovani Pinto, but most people just call me Gio!

I’m a professional portrait, and street photographer, currently based in Maine!
Like many, since I was young, I’ve always found something fascinating about photography. I got my first camera, a Nikon D3200, 8 years ago for Christmas! Since then, I’ve been obsessed with capturing the world, and people in a unique way.

While not having any formal education in photography, I’ve been lucky enough to have some incredible mentors in my life, such as Soubanh, of Memory Maker Photography, and Selfie Space, and Lexi, of Lexi Barker Photography, Each of them have taught me numerous things, and inspired a lot of my work, and I’m endlessly thankful for the support they’ve continued to give me throughout my journey.

Often times, my style is described as cinematic storytelling. My goal is to tell visual stories through my work, invoke emotions, and to inspire those who want to follow this amazing path as well. I strive to create unique images, through creative direction, and reflection of what the client was dreaming of, as well as to help everyone see, and be happy with themselves.

Outside of photography, I’m a pretty nerdy person, I LOVE Star Wars, and am always down to watch something in relation. I often go bowling with friends, and compete in taekwondo, as well!
